Our doctors sometimes take part in medical research and clinical audits. These activities are designed to improve the quality of the care we can provide.
During such activities information about patients with particular medical conditions may be recorded and submitted to research bodies. None of this health information can identify the patient.
Some of the audits we do are run by the National Prescribing Service ( NPS). Please be assured that all information collected, used and stored remains anonymous to comply with the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988.
We would never divulge personal information that could identify you to other bodies without your express consent or unless required to by law .
