Pambula Medical Centre (PMC) has been serving the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales since 1982. We are committed to providing high quality primary health care for the whole family.
Our general practitioners also work at Pambula District Hospital, if appropriate our doctors can continue to care for you as an inpatient in Pambula Hospital. Our nurses offer immunisation, wound care and health monitoring under direction from the doctors. This includes onsite pathology collection and INR monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, spirometry and ECG’s.
We have succeeded in achieving full accreditation. Accreditation is defined as: ‘A formal process to ensure delivery of safe, high quality health care, based on standards and processes devised and developed by health care professionals for health care services’.
Our community, encompassing Pambula, Pambula Beach, Merimbula and Tura Beach, is a popular holiday and retirement destination, so our patients range from newborn to elderly. We visit local aged care facilities, and can attend patients on home visits if necessary.
